Fairway Market to Celebrate Grand Reopening of the 74th Street Café
Manhattan, NY (Sept. 18, 2023) – Fairway Market today announced the grand reopening of the 74th Street Café. The restaurant, an Upper West Side neighborhood favorite with views of the Beacon Theatre and Broadway, will open on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 7 a.m. The café is located on the second floor of Fairway Market of 74th street at 2131 Broadway.
The neighborhood café, which closed during the pandemic, will return with a menu featuring customer favorites and new and delicious dishes. The café offers diners casual sit-down wait service and high-quality meals made from scratch with fresh, gourmet ingredients sourced right from the market downstairs. A team of talented chefs will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with breakfast offered all day.
The 74th Street Café has been an iconic establishment on the Upper West Side since it opened in 2001, well known for its stunning view of the Beacon Theatre and all the lights and action of Broadway. Closed during the pandemic, the store is now ready to reopen the second-floor café to customers who have been awaiting its return.

The café menu features Fairway Market favorites, including Fairway’s famous smoked fish, fresh pulled mozzarella on brick oven pizza, olive oil and baguettes for dipping, silver dollar pancakes and Fairway Market’s signature coffee brews. Guests can also enjoy an assortment of beer and wine.
