ShopRite of Hatfield Announces Grand Reopening Under New Ownership Following Storewide Renovation

McMenamin Family Brings Refreshed Shopping Experience, Lower Prices, and Expanded Fresh Food Offerings to Montgomery County Community

Hatfield, PA  – The McMenamin family, new owners and operators of the ShopRite of Hatfield, announced the store’s grand reopening under new ownership following a multi-phased renovation designed to enhance the shopping experience for the Hatfield community. The store remained open throughout the transformation.

The revitalized ShopRite of Hatfield features more than 8,000 lowered prices, expanded fresh and prepared food offerings, an enlarged sushi bar, a Chinese buffet, and convenient services and savings programs designed to make shopping easier and more affordable for local families.

Longtime Montgomery County residents Sean and Bria McMenamin, the brother-sister team behind the ShopRite of Hatfield, are second-generation grocers and parents of young children. Their family experience informs their commitment to quality groceries, great value, and the needs of local families.

“Our family is honored to own and operate the ShopRite of Hatfield and be part of this wonderful community,” said Sean McMenamin, President of McMenamin Family ShopRites. “For more than 30 years, we have operated stores in northeast Philadelphia, and we are excited to bring that experience to our local marketplace.”

Bria McMenamin added, “As brother and sister with families of our own, Sean and I set out to create the kind of store we would want to shop ourselves — warm, welcoming, and full of great options at a strong value. As busy parents, we understand how important it is for customers to find everything they need in one convenient place, from everyday essentials to prepared meals and items for special occasions. Our vision was to create a true one-stop supermarket experience that makes shopping easier, more enjoyable, and more responsive to the needs of today’s shoppers. We’re excited to welcome our neighbors and show them how this store reflects our commitment to community, service, and value.”

The store will offer fresh foods, prepared meals and services for everyday shopping and special occasions, including:

  • Lowered prices: More than 8,000 lowered prices throughout the store, giving customers more ways to save on everyday essentials
  • Fresh to Table prepared foods: Options for gatherings and celebrations of all sizes
  • Custom cakes: Cakes for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions
  • Beer and wine: A large selection for everyday enjoyment and entertaining. From everyday gatherings to special occasion selections.
  • Online ordering: Convenient options for pickup or delivery
  • Chinese buffet and expanded sushi bar: Convenient options for lunch, dinner and entertaining
