Price Rite Marketplace Associates Recognized

Four associates at the Price Rite Marketplace of Worcester, MA were recognized recently for their life-saving efforts.

The four were honored for their quick responses to two medical emergencies at the store. In the first incident, a child began choking as the family was preparing to leave the store. Identifying the critical need to quickly free the child’s airway, Price Rite Associate Roberto Diaz jumped into action and successfully cleared the obstruction, saving the child’s life.

n a separate incident, associates Dennis Cobos, Drew Delmastro and D’Nay Hunter provided assistance to a customer experiencing a medical emergency. With the support of his co-workers, Dennis utilized his EMS training to help the customer while waiting for emergency services to arrive. Thanks to the team response and additional medical treatment, the customer is expected to make a full recovery.

Kevin McDonnell, President of Price Rite Marketplace, and other members of the leadership team paid a visit to the store on Thursday, Jan. 19 to celebrate the efforts of the store team and recognize their commitment to go above and beyond to help others.
