ShopRite and Chobani Make Donation to Fulfill

June 28, 2020

ShopRite was proud to work with longtime partner Chobani to deliver 18,000 cups of freshly made Greek yogurt recently to Fulfill in Neptune, NJ.

The yogurt delivered to the food bank was distributed to local senior centers, soup kitchens, and food pantries in Monmouth and Ocean counties to help with the tremendous increase in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, ShopRite and Chobani delivered 123,000 cups of yogurt to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside, NJ.

Through its ShopRite Partners In Caring Fund, ShopRite and Wakefern Food Corp. also donated $1 million dollars in April to regional food banks to help meet demand. Chobani, meanwhile, has delivered more than five million donated yogurt cups to Feeding America food banks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
