Price Rite Marketplace Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Promotions, Store Events and Continued Commitment to Community

KEASBEY, NJ (May 29, 2025) – Price Rite Marketplace will proudly mark its 30th anniversary in June with special promotions and events celebrating three decades as a trusted neighborhood grocer known for providing quality products at unbeatable low prices and giving back to the community.

Starting May 30, Price Rite is launching exciting promotions on produce, specialty meats, everyday essentials and more – both in-store and online. Customers can also look forward to festive in-store celebrations, including vendor demonstrations and Employee Appreciation Cookouts at all Price Rite Marketplace locations to honor the team members who have made the past 30 years possible.

“This anniversary is not just a celebration of our past — it’s a celebration of our future and the people who make Price Rite what it is today: our dedicated team members, loyal customers and community partners,” said Kevin McDonnell, president of Price Rite Marketplace. “For three decades, we’ve worked to create a shopping experience where value meets quality, and where every customer can feel at home. But equally important is the role we play in our communities. Whether it’s providing food and essentials through the annual Feeding Minds & Bodies program, or raising funds for local food banks with our Check-Out Hunger initiative, we’re committed to being more than a grocery store — we’re a community partner.”

In addition to anniversary promotions, Price Rite will host its next Feeding Minds & Bodies event on June 10 at the West Springfield, MA store – Price Rite Marketplace’s original location. This event is part of the brand’s 10-year partnership with Feed the Children. Together, they have provided more than 130,000 meals and reached over 228,000 people across the Northeast since the program’s inception. In total, Price Rite Marketplace and Feed the Children have donated over $14 million in food and essentials through 76 community events.

Price Rite’s 30th anniversary also comes on the heels of a successful Check-Out Hunger campaign. This year, Price Rite stores raised more than $23,000 to support regional food banks. Since launching the program in 2002, the retailer has raised over $2 million to help combat food insecurity.

As the company enters its third decade, Price Rite Marketplace remains committed to its founding values: offering customers an easy and affordable shopping experience, delivering top national brands and fresh produce at exceptional prices and strengthening local communities through hands-on service and support.
