Price Rite Marketplace Thanks Employees on Supermarket Employee Day
Keasbey, NJ (February 23, 2024) – Price Rite Marketplace celebrated and recognized associates as part of Supermarket Employee Day, a day proclaimed by The Food Industry Association to recognize supermarket employees at every level for the work they do feeding families and enriching lives.
Team members from all 49 Price Rite Marketplace stores were acknowledged Thursday for their hard work, dedication and commitment to providing quality service to the communities Price Rite stores serve. Price Rite Marketplace employees were provided complimentary lunch and letters of thanks from the company’s leadership team. The leadership and support teams also visited store locations to thank each team member in person.
The recognition yesterday was a follow-up to the company’s annual meeting celebration in January, when Chris Volino, store manager of the Price Rite Marketplace of Kenmore Avenue in Buffalo, NY, was named Price Rite Marketplace’s Store Manager of the Year. Volino was awarded a trophy and gift certificate for driving sales growth, team member engagement, community involvement, training and development and support of his colleagues. At that same meeting, dozens of Price Rite store managers were also recognized for their achievements in 2023.
“Our team members are committed to providing customers with unmatched service, and we are so thankful for the work they do each day in our stores and in our communities,” said Kevin McDonnell, president of Price Rite Marketplace. “I am proud to recognize and honor each and every Price Rite employee on Supermarket Employee Day.”
