Inserra Supermarkets Inc. Celebrates Grand Opening of the ShopRite of Maple & Hemlock

Fair Lawn, NJ (June 16, 2023) – Inserra Supermarkets Inc., the family-owned and operated New Jersey-based company, celebrated the grand opening of its newest store, the ShopRite of Maple & Hemlock in Fair Lawn, NJ, which opened to the public on Friday, June 16 at 7 a.m.

The new full service, state-of-the-art supermarket, located in the Maple Avenue Plaza, features signature specialty Inserra Supermarket departments, including a from-scratch fresh bakery offering store-made bread, cakes and pastries, a café, Patsy’s Butcher meat department with trained butchers and a Wellness Department staffed with an in-store registered dietitian.

The supermarket also provides both traditional and self-checkout lanes, as well as online ordering with store pickup.

“We are proud to welcome our customers to the ShopRite of Maple & Hemlock,” said Lawrence Inserra Jr., chairman and CEO of Inserra Supermarkets. “This new store demonstrates our family’s continued commitment to the community to offer top-tier value, quality and service to our shoppers. It has been an honor and privilege to support this community since 1985. We thank our customers for their patience as we prepared the new store.”

In addition, the ShopRite of Maple & Hemlock features Fresh to Table, an in-store space that reinvents traditional produce and fresh departments to provide inspired, high-quality food-to-go options and ingredients for shoppers looking for a one-stop-shop meal experience. Visitors will find ready-to-cook items (“Prep & Eat”), ready-to-heat and serve items (“Heat & Eat”) and ready-to-eat meals (“Grab & Eat”). The multi-purpose space will also have ShopRite’s new and innovative Own Brand products, including its award-winning Bowl & Basket and Wholesome Pantry lines.  Fresh to Table also incorporates convenient digital components such as ShopRite Express to pre-order meals online.

The new store includes a fresh modern design with updated store signage, LED lighting and refrigerated cases that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
