ShopRite of Riverside and ShopRite of Howard Park to Launch “Fresh to Table”

Forest Hill, MD (May 15, 2023) – The ShopRite of Riverside, located at 1321 Riverside Pkwy, and the ShopRite of Howard Park, located at 4601 Liberty Heights Ave., announced the debut of Fresh to Table, an innovative store-within-a-store where customers can find fresh, on-trend foods, easy to prepare ingredients and meal solutions in a variety of grab-and-go formats.

Fresh to Table reinvents traditional produce and fresh food departments, providing additional high-quality options for shoppers looking for a one-stop shop experience. Customers can choose from ready-to-cook items (“Prep & Eat”), ready-to-heat and serve items (“Heat & Eat”), and ready-to-eat meals (“Grab & Eat”). The multi-purpose space also features new and innovative foods from ShopRite’s private label lines, including the supermarket’s award-winning Bowl & Basket and Wholesome Pantry products.

Klein’s Family Markets brings unique Maryland-style seafood offerings and recipes, curated by ShopRite chefs and registered dieticians, to its Fresh To Table departments. The supermarket’s branded line of Klein’s Signature items changes seasonally and customers can enjoy Klein’s Signature crab cakes, crab dip, Old Bay chicken salad and other Klein’s Signature favorites all year round. Additionally, shoppers can access Fresh to Table meals, snacks and produce through the store’s online grocery service.

The Fresh to Table store-within-a-store combines the best of ShopRite’s ready-made meal expertise with the latest in integrated technology such as online ordering via ShopRite’s Order Express app, which allows customers to order ahead of time for express pick-up, or for delivery via DoorDash. Shoppers can also access Fresh to Table options on ShopRite’s online shopping service.
