ShopRite of Westfall Town Center Celebrates Opening in Pike County, Pa.

Keasbey, NJ – (Nov. 7, 2021) – ShopRite today announced the opening of its newest store, the ShopRite of Westfall Town Center, in Pike County, PA. The 73,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art and full-service supermarket, located at 111 Hulst Drive, opened November 7 at the Westfall Town Center.

“We are proud to open our new store in Westfall Township and look forward to serving the community and providing ShopRite value, variety, and quality — along with exciting new store features, décor and design, and amenities,” said Steve Savas, president, Shop-Rite Supermarkets, Inc. (SRS), which operates ShopRite stores in New Jersey and the Hudson Valley and Capital Region in New York.

The ShopRite of Westfall Town Center features Fresh to Table, an in-store space that reinvents traditional produce and fresh departments to provide inspired, high-quality food-to-go options and ingredients for shoppers looking for a one-stop-shop meal experience.

The store will also debut a fresh and new modern design and best-in-class aesthetic that carries through other ShopRite brand touchpoints such as digital platforms, circulars and clever store signage, as well as the new Fresh to Table experience at the store.

Visitors will find Fresh to Table sections with ready-tocook items (“Prep & Eat”), ready-to-heat and serve items (“Heat & Eat”), and ready-to-eat meals (“Grab & Eat”). The multi-purpose space will also feature ShopRite’s new and innovative Own Brand products, including our award-winning Bowl & Basket and Wholesome Pantry lines.

Fresh to Table also incorporates convenient digital components such as ShopRite Express to pre-order meals online. Other highlights of the “Fresh to Table” shopping experience include the “Tasty & Trending” section featuring on-trend, seasonal foods with items that change frequently. Tasty and Trending meals and snacks are selected by ShopRite chefs and registered dietitians with the goal of inspiring customers to explore unique meal options that are procured from departments across the store including Meat, Seafood, Produce, Bakery and more. Distinctive signage and designated registers for easy checkout also provide an easy and intuitive experience for customers shopping Fresh to Table in-store.

In addition, the store offers a large assortment of groceries and fresh produce along with all the hallmark store features and services ShopRite customers have come to expect. The new store includes a meat department with trained butchers; from-scratch fresh bake shop offering store made bread, cakes and pastries; seafood department with fresh deliveries daily; produce department with large selection of organic and locally grown fruits and vegetables, and a floral department. For customer convenience, the store will offer both traditional and self-checkout lanes as well as the online shopping service, ShopRite from Home.® ShopRite associates personally shop online grocery orders and customers pick up their groceries at the store or have their orders delivered right to their doorstep.

The store will replace the ShopRite of Montague, located at the Tri-State Mall, 10A NJ-23. The ShopRite of Montague will close its doors at 6 p.m. on November 6 and the new ShopRite of Westfall Town Center will open at 7 a.m. the following morning, Nov. 7.

The new supermarket will employ approximately 300 employees, including all associates from the previous store location in Montague, NJ. Those interested in positions can apply in store or by checking the careers section at https://www.shoprite.com/careers.
