Wakefern to Hold Hiring Fair on September 18 For New Jersey Warehouse Selector Positions

Wakefern Food Corp., the nation’s largest retailer-owned cooperative with member companies that own and operate supermarkets under the ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Dearborn Market, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market banners, is hosting a hiring fair on September 18, to fill a number of full-time warehouse selector positions in New Jersey.

Wakefern is seeking applicants for warehouse selector jobs to help prepare products and shipments for delivery to supermarkets. First and second shifts are available with a guaranteed 40 hours a week and overtime opportunities.  Successful candidates can expect to use voice directed technology to select cases at the warehouses.

The hiring fair for the warehouses located in Elizabeth, Keasbey, and Jamesburg will be held on Sept. 18, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at 5000 Riverside Drive, Keasbey, NJ 08832.

After completion of a probationary period, employees are eligible for company-paid health benefits, company-paid retirement plan, paid holidays, paid time off and guaranteed annual raises.

Wakefern will provide on-the-job training at the bilingual English/Spanish warehouses. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.  No prior warehouse experience is required.

All COVID-19 protocols will be in place at the hiring fair, including wearing masks and observing social distancing.
