LOCAL SHOPRITE STORES OFFER UNIQUE NEW SERVICE
Flanders, NJ - (December 10, 2014) – To help customers live healthier lifestyles, four local ShopRite stores will now provide the services of an in-store dietitian.
DJ Romano, President of RoNetco Supermarkets, a family business that owns and operates seven ShopRite stores in northwest New Jersey, announced today that ShopRite stores in Hackettstown, Flanders, Succasunna and Byram now offer the free nutrition service to all customers.
“We are excited to add registered dietitians to our teams at ShopRite as part of our commitment to find new ways to better serve our customers and help them live healthier lives,” said DJ Romano. “ShopRite is about families serving families. We are happy to add this service as a valuable resource for our associates and customers, to provide expert advice and support for their nutrition and health needs.”
ShopRite of Mansfield in Hackettstown (Rte 57W & Allen Street)- Julianna Manzo, RD

ShopRite of Flanders (90 Bartley Road) - Lydia Lelah, RD

ShopRite of Succasunna (281 Rt 10, Roxbury Mall) - Eliza Feltimo, RD
Ms. Feltimo received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She also works with the Kellyn Foundation, a non-profit organization, which strives to help school-aged children become healthier eaters and consumers. Mr. Pagano received his Bachelor’s of Science from Michigan State University and completed his dietetic internship at College of St. Elizabeth. To make an appointment with John, customers can call (973) 448-9770.
As the new Retail Dietitians for ShopRite, these new associates can guide customers on a range of issues, from learning how to shop and prepare healthy meals, to proper nutrition for specific health conditions and dietary needs. They will host a series of in-store healthy cooking classes, provide tips on upgrading shopping lists and recipes with healthy alternatives, hold seminars on pantry makeovers, and even navigate the aisles with shoppers to decipher food labels and find ways to improve their diet.

ShopRite’s Retail Dietitian team consists of more than ninety Registered Dietitians who service ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. Together these Dietitians offer nutrition advice, meal planning, and diet modification for specific medical conditions.
All nutritional services are available to customers free of charge.
